In the Khumbu Himal, running just north of Namche Bazaar, is a long line of peaks continuing all the way to Cho Oyu on the Nepalese-Tibetan border. With the Thame valley to the west and the Gokyo valley to the east the 6186 meter (20,290 feet) high Kyajo Ri is the highest summit on the southern part of this ridge.
KYAJO RI one of the newly opened peak for climbing purpose which is located in Gokyo valley of Everest region. This peak is also known as trekking peak which means you can climb this peak while you are on the trek to Gokyo Ri or Renjo La pass.
But comparing with other similar trekking peaks, Kyajo Ri is comparatively more technical. To ascend Kyajo Ri, It would be good to have climbing experience on rock and ice because it is relatively more technical peak and of course physical condition of climber need to be in good order. It is also a very quite and as used to for extreme climbers.
